Sacred Space

Definition:
A sacred space is any area—physical or energetic—that has been cleansed and dedicated for magical, spiritual, ritualistic or devotional use.

Usage:
“Before the meditation, we cast a circle to establish sacred space.”

Why It Matters in Corvus Veritas:
Creating sacred space shows reverence and provides energetic boundaries for safe and focused work. Students are taught to treat this space with respect, never breaking a circle or leaving it open. Circling creates a safe space to practice in.

Guidance for Students:

  • Use sound, scent, or movement to help shift a space’s energy.
  • Respect the space by not entering, leaving or disrupting others once cast.
  • You can carry sacred space within through visualization or sigils.
