Member Requirements

Requirements for Senior Members Seeking Admission to House Corvus Veritas

To attain membership in House Corvus Veritas, Seniors must successfully complete the following requirements, which are designed to demonstrate their dedication, knowledge, and alignment with the House’s values:

  1. Thesis Submission
    • A comprehensive thesis consisting of 40-60 pages.
    • Formatting: 12-point font, single-spaced.
    • Subject: Individual Craft Study, focusing on a topic of the candidate’s choice.
    • Purpose: To showcase advanced understanding and independent research within the candidate’s area of expertise.
  2. Examinations
    • General Student Program Examination:
      • A rigorous 350-question exam covering the foundational principles and practices taught throughout the program.
      • Passing this exam signifies successful program graduation.
    • Craft-Specific Examination:
      • A 100-question exam tailored to the candidate’s unique craft or specialization.
  3. Volunteer Service
    • A minimum of 6 months of extracurricular activity involving House-related volunteer work.
    • This service demonstrates the candidate’s commitment to the community and ability to contribute meaningfully to the House.
  4. Oral Examination
    • A 15-question oral exam, conducted as part of the program’s graduation requirements.
    • This component evaluates the candidate’s verbal articulation of concepts and practical knowledge.
  5. Character Interview
    • A formal character interview, during which the candidate’s personal craft, values, and alignment with House Corvus Veritas are thoroughly examined.
    • This includes an offer letter, contingent upon a successful review of the candidate’s suitability for membership.
